so i decided to skip my trip to New York and go to Ohayocon instead, so me and a buch of friends...and total strangers that i dont know, from the local college are prolly gonna chip-in and rent a van to drive up to Columbus in January, I cant wait!

also im making my own costume...and prolly my sister's costume too cause she wants to tag along...i think im going to cosplay as my friends OC, i now she's going as one of her own characters as well. I hope this works ok cause ive never dressed as a male before...hopefully mah huge chest doesn't ruin the costume...

anyway...im going to make a huge sword and i was wondering what holds styrofoam together the best...would hot glue work or would that melt it?...if worst comes to worst theres always duct-tape...ive also got rubber cement but idk if thats strong enough...

well if anyone out there has anygood ideas let me know :la:

I like pandas, candy, painting, sculpting, drawing, making things and wearing costumes... I'm an Art Education Major at Shawnee State University...People tell me I look like I'm 12...but I'm suuuuu not. I love watching Anime and reading Manga, I've met alot of friends because of my Otaku nature, and I even discovered Deviantart because of it too. I'm usually very quiet but creating things and just talking about art brings out my loud, eccentric side. I can't think of anything else to put so I guess that's it. :3

well i finally tried the hair do...it wasnt as good as urs cause my hair is layered alot ...and really short but it did look like it would make for a cute fairy hair style, but i always wanted to know how robin got her hair to stay up like that and it really works

I'm glad to hear it worked somewhat for you! :D There are other ways I'm sure, but that's simply the way I did it on the model in the photos. :shrug: I talked to one girl that used a coat hanger which to me sounded way uncomfortable and when I saw the picture they were way too long, like Pipi Longstockings long as opposed to WHR's. But fairy hair would be cute too! The success also depends on the length of hair sooo... at the time the model's hair was really long and I thought when I started styling it may be too long! ^^;

Why yes it did! "Hate Spinnerbait!" is a phrase used a lot in Sarah Dessen's book "This Lullaby". C:
